One of the things that distinguishes the Seattle International Comedy Competition from other major comedy events around the world is our commitment to featuring talented performers from the Pacific Northwest.

In order to continue to do that, we host "Regional Talent Showcases" where we get a chance to sample and celebrate the comedians working in the Seattle area, the Portland area and the Vancouver BC area. These performers will be doing their best on these showcases coming up in August, hoping to earn themselves a spot in this year's 36th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition (which will take place in November.)

Comedy fans in these towns should definitely make their plans now to catch any of these shows if they can--because these shows are always an excellent opportunity to get to see a great variety of talented performers in action!
